Jones to Overwatch, the company’s premier cybersecurity platform, as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Kim brings over 35 years of intelligence, security, and risk management expertise to Overwatch’s clients and partners.
As a cybersecurity industry veteran, Kim has built and managed information security programs across multiple industries, served as a strategic advisor to enterprise CISOs, and directed high-impact educational initiatives in cybersecurity. His experience includes executive roles as Chief Security Officer at Vantiv and eFunds Corporation.
His academic contributions include serving as the principal architect of a cybersecurity education program at Arizona State University, an adjunct faculty member at UC Berkeley, and an instructor for the SANS Institute.

He is also a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), highlighting his exceptional expertise in the cybersecurity field. A decorated Army Captain, Kim earned distinction for his exemplary service in military intelligence, further demonstrating his commitment to leadership and excellence.
