Batavia, IL – January 28, 2019– High Wire Networks Inc revealed their newly renovated office space, located at the corner of Lincoln and Houston in downtown Batavia, at their Ribbon Cutting last week.
High Wire Networks, a firm that enables next-generation technology for companies in 180 countries, has experienced rapid growth, requiring the need for additional office space. In addition to a 24/7 technical support staff, High Wire recently launched a 24/7 security center.
While High Wire Networks has employees all over the country and around the globe, they want to maintain a local home base. “Batavia is just a great place, we bring a lot of visitors through. We anticipate adding roughly 65 more jobs in the next two to three years, most of that would be local,” CEO and President Mark Porter of Geneva said.
Now known as the Lincoln Atrium Business Center, this brown brick building was formerly known as the historic Swedish Covenant Church. Historians will be pleased to know the exterior of the building has not been altered and neither has the beautiful two-story window atrium or arched windows with stained-glass art. The entire building has been transformed into “a really vibrant, open, collaborative work space,” Porter said. A BEI property, the Lincoln Atrium Business Center has been High Wire’s headquarters since 2017.
Celebrating 20 years in business, High Wire delivers high quality professional services, low voltage installations, wireless networking, managed security-as-a-service, communication installation, commercial electrical services, break/fix solutions and more across North America, and around the world. “We don’t service direct to consumer,” Porter said. “Our customers are the largest resellers of technology in the world. They work with 100 percent of the Fortune 1000. We serve large financial institutions, global distributors, manufacturers, just about every retail brand. We are representing our customer, not our own brand.”
