Investment is the First Step in Multiyear, Multimillion-dollar Expansion Plan to Enhance Processing, Reliability, Features and Reporting
High Wire Networks, a leading global technical field, professional and cybersecurity services company, announced today at CompTIA ChannelCon Online that it has invested an additional $500,000 to boost network resilience and capacity to meet the increasing demand for the Overwatch Managed Security Platform as a Service.
The investment is the first step in a multiyear, multimillion-dollar network expansion plan for the Overwatch platform, which delivers X Detection and Response (XDR) technology and 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) as a service to managed service providers (MSPs) and their business clients.
Specifically, the company has doubled the number of Distributed Processing Environment (DPE) servers on the Overwatch platform to increase processing capacity by more than 1.2 TB of data per day. The additional capacity will give Overwatch even greater resiliency and reliability. It also will improve memory availability to deliver more features, such as advanced threat hunting automation, enhanced automated response capabilities and improved reporting.
“We’re extremely pleased with the market’s response to the Overwatch Managed Security Platform as a Service,” said High Wire Networks CEO Mark Porter. “We take on the complexity and the high price tag of cybersecurity for MSPs. Our MSP partners can leverage our investment in best-of-breed tools and extensive expertise to deliver scalable margin-rich cybersecurity services. We make cybersecurity profitable for our partners as well as affordable for their end users with the most open, future-proof and cost-effective solution on the market.”
The cornerstone of the Overwatch platform is Overwatch 24/7, which combines XDR technology with a 24/7 SOC to effectively cut through the noise and drill down on real threats. Unlike traditional Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, Overwatch 24/7 relies on comprehensive, pervasive data collection, big-data processing and artificial intelligence to uncover relevant, actionable data for effective threat detection and response. Armed with relevant data, Overwatch SOC analysts able to respond to attacks and stop them at critical points along the kill chain 24/7.
In addition to Overwatch 24/7, the Overwatch Platform as a Service includes security awareness training, patch management, vulnerability assessment and intelligent video surveillance.
Meet the Overwatch team at CompTIA ChannelCon Online Digital Event, August 4-6, at the High Wire Networks virtual booth.
